The Streaming Giant Chooses Spot-On Star for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Upcoming Installment
Baroque Works is set to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the major clash isn’t set to occur until the third season, and a beloved, popular member has now been chosen.
Netflix announced this week that the talented performer will appear in the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Mr. 2. This character has the ability to transform into an exact copy of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. Escola, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will portray a interpretation of that figure re-envisioned as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the live-action show, unlike the source material and anime.
Escola will work alongside several other new cast members tasked with bringing the organization to the screen, featuring chief Mr. 0, brought to life by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who will appear as the cast as the ruler of the fictional land.
