Salah Offers Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the team following the uproar from his recent interview.
What Happened
He was omitted from a key Champions League match subsequent to criticising the club and suggesting his relationship with manager had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has chosen not to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the player.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction remained positive. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” he continued.
The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I get that there are certain ways you can handle situations,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”

“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, playing well and on a positive run.”
