The City of Angels witnessed citywide festivities after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
